lyrics

These days I'm just a placeholder until the real me gets here.
Sunlight is going by so fast. How did it ever disappear?

I'm running out of things to say convincing you I'm not a waste.
I want to instantly hear back... let's save it for another day.

Now I am filling up a space with words that I cannot erase,
And this is where argument lives.
I line up in a length queue important things I've left to do,
And I can feel them all slip away.

These days I'm just a placeholder until someone who's real gets here.
I thought I would betray my past. Turns out I never could see clear.
